China Institute Executive Summits bring together leading corporate executives, government officials, investment professionals and entrepreneurs from China and the United States, for future focused discussions on specific U.S.-China business topics. These half-day programs address the rapidly growing need for both business and cross-cultural dialogue among leading business professionals in the United States and China. First held in 2004, Executive Summits provide senior business leaders with an opportunity to network and discuss industry trends.
Private Roundtable Discussions
On May 23, China Institute Center for Business held a Private Roundtable Discussion with CEOs and senior executives from US and Chinese companies sponsored by First Republic Bank. The program featured two topics: Success in China: Navigating the Regulatory and Digital Landscape with Robert Hong Xiao, CEO of Perfect World, Inc., in conversation with James Heimowitz, President of China Institute; and the Opportunities and Challenges for U.S.-China Public-Private Partnerships in U.S.Infrastructure Investment with Samara Barend, SVP, North America Strategic Development Director for P3s, AECOM Capital and Michael Krupa, President, Gemdale USA Corporation, in conversation with Dorinda Elliott, Paulson Institute.
