U.S.-China Next Generation Philanthropy Dialogue Initiative
“Next-generation” philanthropists face challenges wherever they are. How do they carve out a vision that is their own, separate from their parents’? How do they develop a strategic approach to philanthropy, driven by performance, metrics, and impact?
This ongoing project, in partnership with the China Global Philanthropy Institute in Beijing, connects U.S. and Chinese philanthropists and establishes an ongoing dialogue that will strengthen strategic giving and deepen U.S.-China cross-cultural understanding.
2018 U.S.-China Next Generation Philanthropy Dialogue: U.S philanthropists Steve Schwarzman, Betsy and Joan Davidson, John Long (front row), and David and Susan Rockefeller (second row, right) shared their philosophies and strategies with a delegation brought by the China Global Philanthropy Institute in Beijing.
