China is the largest ecommerce market in the world. Online retail sales in China reached almost 590 billion USD in 2015, a 33% increase from a year earlier. What is behind this rapid growth? Is China cross-border ecommerce a good fit for your company?

With 40 billion RMB (6 billion USD) of revenue in 2015, VIP.com has become the largest flash sales platform globally, as well as the third largest online retailer in China.

Tony Shan is the Senior Business Development & Merchandising Manager at VIP.com for the Americas region. Prior to joining VIP.com, he had experience at Amazon, Coach, Inc., Macy’s and Mervyn’s. Sheyna Horowitz is the Senior Business Development & Merchandising Manager for the Food, Baby and Home categories. She previously worked for Target, Home Depot and Amazon.
