Curator’s Lecture: Part Two New Shanshui Photography—Chinese Landscape Photography with a New Dimension

Art of the Mountain’s second curator’s lecture will be conducted by renowned photography critic Jiang Rong (江融), guest curator of the exhibition, member of the United Nations Exhibitions Committee, and columnist in Photo World magazine. Jiang’s lecture will focus on the elements of the exhibition’s third section: New Landscape Photography.

Jiang Rong’s bio:
Jiang Rong is a photography critic, photographer and independent curator based in New York City. He earned a Master’s Degree from the City University of New York in 1993, and also studied at the International Center of Photography, New York. Since 1988, his work as a photographer, curator and commentator have reached international audiences, and in 2009 he won the Golden Figure Award for Best Photographic Critic in China. He is currently a member of the United Nations Exhibitions Committee, and since 2013, Mr. Jiang has been writing a monthly column in Photo World magazine on world contemporary photographers.
