• For courses with 10 sessions or more, refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
- 100% tuition: one week prior to the first class/session
- 90% tuition: prior to the second class/session
- 80% tuition: prior to the third class/session
- No refund: after the third class/session
• For courses with 5 sessions or fewer, refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
- 100% tuition: one week prior to the first class/session
- 80% tuition: prior to the second class/session
- No refund: after the second class/session
• Under special circumstances, a credit option may be considered after the refund period. The request must be made by e-mail before the 6th class/session for a 10 session course. There is no credit for short courses with 5 sessions or fewer. The credit is valid for one year from the date it was issued. No credits will be given after the 6th class/session. Class credits may not be cashed out.
• Registration fee and teaching materials/textbooks are non-refundable.
• No refunds or credit for withdrawals from a lecture, workshop, day-tour or single-day event.
• China Institute will not provide make-ups or issue refunds for programs missed as a result of a student’s illnesses, emergencies, or other events beyond the Institute’s control.
• Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment. Please allow 8-10 business days for the processing of refunds.
