• Toddlers (ages 2 to 3)

Through art projects, music, games, and other carefully designed activities, toddlers will learn Chinese and explore Chinese culture in an immersive environment. In addition to becoming familiar with the Chinese language and Chinese culture, toddlers learn to respond to instructions, develop social and emotional skills in their small and diverse group, and express themselves using words and basic sentences in Chinese.

• Kids (4 – 7 years old)

In an immersive classroom over the course of three sessions and six weeks, children will actively participate in three interconnected themes that explore China’s past and present. Session I, “A Tour of China”, develops students’ understanding of Chinese geography, architecture, as well as famous cultural and historical sites. In Session II, “A Bite of China” will take students to explore the important role of food, cooking, and nutrition in Chinese culture. For the final Session III, “Green China”, students will investigate the relationship between traditional Chinese culture and the natural world, while also learn about important issues relating to environmental protection in modern-day China. In addition to becoming familiar with topics related to each session, students will learn to express their feelings, preferences, and opinions in Chinese, according to their individual language levels.
